The Manager

The Investment Manager is Triple Point Investment Manager LLP (“Triple Point”). Triple Point is the place where people, purpose and profit meet.

Since 2004, Triple Point has been unlocking investment opportunities which make a difference across five distinct investment strategies: Social Housing, Energy, Digital Infrastructure, Private Credit and Venture. Each strategy helps to solve a problem society faces, and each one creates opportunities.

Triple Point manages over £3 billion of private, institutional, and public capital and benefits from a diverse team of over 200 employees, with a rich mix of skills. Working together to make a difference.

The Digital Infrastructure Team

Our team has a proven track record of over US$300 billion infrastructure transactions experience, alongside in-depth relationships with our well-connected, deeply knowledgeable network of digital infrastructure industry experts.

We are 100% focused on the provision of digital infrastructure integrated with green and cleaner power in line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 9: “Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation”.

Ben Beaton
Fund Manager
Ben is the Co-Managing Partner of Triple Point and Fund Manager for D9. He was instrumental in establishing D9 and has taken an active role in the development of Triple Point’s digital infrastructure team. Ben joined Triple Point in 2007 and was appointed Co-Managing Partner of Triple Point in 2016.

Diego Massidda
Head of Digital Infrastructure
Diego has over 20 years' operating experience in global telecommunications and digital infrastructure. Diego oversees the delivery of D9 and Investee Companies’ strategic objectives and value creation, across both portfolio optimization as well as origination of investment opportunities.

Arnaud Jaguin
Managing Director
Arnaud has over 15 years’ experience in telecoms and digital infrastructure, with a strong focus on fibre and wireless networks. He leads the team on investment analysis, portfolio management and strategy, and engages actively with investors. Arnaud sits on the Boards of Aqua Comms, Verne Global, Host Ireland and Arqiva.

Martin Letrilliart
Investment Manager
Martin is an Associate on the Digital Infrastructure Investment Team. During his time at D9 he has worked on the acquisition of Verne Global (£231m), EMIC-1 (£50m), Volta Data Centres (£45m) and SeaEdge UK1 (£15m) and leads on the fund’s bi-annual valuation process. Martin joined Triple Point in 2018.

Amber Reid
Investment Manager
Amber joined Triple Point in August 2021 as an Investment Associate in the Digital 9 Infrastructure team. During her time at D9, Amber has worked on the acquisition of Verne Global (£231m) and Host Ireland (£51m) and leads on the portfolio management of both entities. Amber is also a Board Observer for Host Ireland.

Colin Wallace
Investment Manager
Colin joined Triple Point in October 2021 as an Investment Associate. In his role at D9, Colin has worked on the acquisitions of Ficolo (£114m) and works on portfolio management for Ficolo and Aqua Comms. He has focussed on evaluating new investment opportunities across all four digital infrastructure subsectors.

Investment Associate
Robbie joined Triple Point in September 2022 as an Investment Analyst in the Digital 9 Infrastructure Team. Robbie has focussed primarily on evaluating terrestrial fibre and fixed wireless pipeline opportunities and has recently taken over coverage of D9’s latest portfolio acquisition, Arqiva.

Yeshuai He
Investment Associate
Yeshuai joined Triple Point in April 2023 as an investment analyst in the Digital 9 Infrastructure team. Yeshuai is focused on evaluating pipeline opportunities, in particular fixed wireless and data centre opportunities. Yeshuai is also supporting the team on the fund's bi-annual valuation process and ongoing portfolio management.

Khairul Aziz
Fund Accountant
Khairul is the Fund Accountant for D9. He previously worked in Social Housing (REIT) and Leasing and Lending teams, coming from audit background where he has over 20 years’ experience in audit, accountancy and corporate taxation. Khairul holds a BA (Hons) Accounting and also a fellow of ACCA.

Lindsay Smart
Head of Sustainability
Lindsay has over 15 years of finance industry experience alongside formal training in sustainable business practice. She has previously led the development of an award-winning sustainability and impact assessment tool, in addition to advising companies and investors on their approach to sustainability integration.

Seif Borin
Legal Counsel
Seif joined Triple Point in 2021 and is a Legal Counsel for D9. Seif was an associate at an international law firm and advised financial institutions, banks and sponsors on their project financing arrangements in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and spent a year in Paris working on a variety of project finance transactions.

Alan spent 12 years at Vodafone Plc, as Group Strategy Director, he led c.$200 billion of acquisitions. Alan co-founded and was CEO at Eaton Towers, a leading tower company, which was acquired by American Tower for c.$1.9 billion in 2019.

Laureen has over 25 years experience in wireless, fibre, subsea, towers, and data centres, and investment expertise in emerging technologies including IoT, cloud convergence, and satellite. Most recently Laureen was a former Principal of the TMT private equity investment group, World Bank’s International Finance Corporation.

Steve was an Executive at BT plc for 25 years, including as President of Global Carrier business, he was responsible for managing BT's Network Operations across 125 countries and was a member of BT Group Capital Investment Committee. Previously he was Chairman of PE backed Azzurri Communications until its successful exit in 2016.

CEO of Arqiva
Shuja Khan, CEO of Arqiva, joined Arqiva in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer where he helped establish the new strategic direction for the business. Shuja has 20 years’ experience in technology, media, and communications. Previously, he held leadership positions at Cable & Wireless, Virgin Media, and Liberty Global Europe.

Jim Fagan
CEO of Aqua Comms
Jim, CEO of Aqua Comms, is a technology executive with 25 years of experience in telecoms and IT in private and public companies in the US, Asia Pacific and EMEA. Jim was at GCX since 2020, and Pacnet from 2012 to 2015 as president of managed services. Jim also worked for Telstra after it acquired Pacnet.

Kim is Managing Director and Head of Finland at Verne Global Finland, he co-founded in 2011. He has over 20 years of experience in ICT, and has been instrumental to building Verne Global Finland into an acclaimed data center partner. Formerly at Nokia, Tellabs, SEVEN Networks, and Creanord.

CEO of Verne Global
Dominic Ward joined Verne Global’s management team in 2015. Prior that he ran direct investments at the Wellcome Trust, one of the company's previous shareholders. He began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance and later co-founded Lepe Partners, a technology investment and advisory firm.

David Russell
CEO of Elio Networks
David is Chief Executive for Host Ireland Business Broadband, joining as Head of Sales in 2016 before becoming Chief Executive in 2018. He led the sales of Host Ireland Business Broadband to Digital 9 in 2022. Previously, David held positions in The Dixons Group and started a bonded logistics company in his native Northern Ireland.
